ABOUT
My name is Tarah Baird and I am a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator. I grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design.
I like my art and designs to be aesthetically provoking while at the same time being complex and charged with meaning. As an artist and graphic designer I hope to communicate relevant and exciting messages effectively through dynamic, intelligent, and bold designs. In the future I hope to work in an environment that pushes me creatively and conceptually as a designer and hones my abilities to think of fresh, distinctive ideas.
I feel confident that with my knowledge and experience, I have the ability to manage projects from conception through production to final delivery while maintaining brand identity. I am adept at multitasking within high-pressure, deadline-driven creative environments with thorough understanding of layout, photography and typography. I have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Suite: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Lightroom, and After Effects. I practice radical collaboration with my team and coworkers to analyze and execute client requests through effective communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
